Bromleians were boosted ahead of this game with the return of two strikers that played a vital part in their high placed finish last season.
Alfred Keroma & Steve Shippey both returned to the bromleians starting line up for the first time this season to ease the striker crisis at scrubs Farm.
It wasn't long before the pair was causing havoc to the belvedere defence with sharp and smart runs.
However it was Belvedere who came closest to opening the scoring when a long range punt seemed to have caught the bromleians goalkeeper off his line, only for the 6foot plus keeper to tip over a fine save.
That seemed to spark Bromleians into life and a long throw from Walker did the trick. His throw found Shippey whose flick over the centre back was adjudged to be handled and the referee had no alternative but to award the spot kick.
Walker stepped up confidently and side footed home to ensure the Broms went in at HT 1-0 up.
Bromleians continued to push forward in the second half and were unlucky not to have doubled their lead when a Shippey downward Header was fantastically saved by the Deres Keeper.
However it was his partner in crime that settled this Division 1 West clash just after the hour mark. A clever turn by Keroma had the defence in all sorts of trouble and he duly slotted home to seal a morale boosting win for the broms.
With the strike pairing back and a fantastic goalkeeping performance Bromlieans manager Ben Kotey can sleep a little easier knowing his team seem to be finally showing the form that saw them hit the lofty heights of the division last time out.
