The game started quiet, however soon kicked in to life when Ashley Cooper turned on the edge of the 18 yard box and struck the first goal for the visitors and holders of the cup.
Norton came back strong in the first-half and equalised shortly after and were on top during this period although the better chances were falling to Bly.
After about 35 minutes Norton grabbed another against the run of play and Bly Spartans went in at half time 2-1 down.
The second-half was all Bly Spartans and they showed why they are undefeated in all competitions, when Lee Sperring broke down the left hand side beating his man and cutting it back to Kev Penfold who smashed the ball in to the top corner.....2-2.
GAME on! After about 20 minutes gone in the second-half Bly were looking the fitter and really taking the game to Norton, Danny Almond went through on goal and was brought down, the referee was right on the money and immediately pointed to the spot. Kevin Penfold stepped up and slotted the ball into the corner without the keeper even moving for it.
Bly soaked up a little bit of pressure in the last 10 minutes but were reasonably comfortable and won the game 3-2.
A great result and still on for winning every trophy available to us. Well done boys.
